Welcome to Greenpoint

A former industrial and maritime neighborhood, Greenpoint was once primarily home to Polish and Irish immigrants and is now home to a large artist's community and is a residential area with hipster appeal. The nightlife, restaurant and music scene have burgeoned in recent years as energy and activity in Williamsburg have crept north towards Greenpoint.   With all these features, Greenpoint still retains a calm, secluded vibe. The neighborhood’s low-key, tucked-away feel is preserved with traditional Polish shops and restaurants sharing the streets with trend-setting eateries, bars and live music venues. Galleries and artist studios are found in converted warehouses. The revitalized East River waterfront has parks offer sweeping views of midtown Manhattan. Despite all the change that’s happened already and the clear potential for greater change to come, Greenpoint still hangs onto its rich history and provides a vibrancy .

Four Oaks' three buildings in Greenpoint offer a variety of layouts and locations within this burgeoning neighborhood. The buildings on Franklin Street offer access to Greenpoint's trendiest retail corridor, Franklin Street, the waterfront, and the Greenpoint Avenue subway stop. The Leonard Street building provides proximity to McCarren Park, the Nassau Avenue subway stop, and popular eateries including Frankel's and Five Leaves.
